Uhhh huh.
So I watched Avalon last night. A friend dropped it off about a month ago and left for me to watch. He stated that it is slow and boring, but I would like it. The guy is pretty flakey so I just put it off. This movie is all about taking Evercrack to the next level in the low high-tech bland and orange future. It raises some really excellent questions and proviedes some excellent scenarios, but it is a 35 min short extended into a feature length film. It is exceptionally slow at points.
It does many things right, mainly in the photography and cinematography department, but fails at alot. A good movie that fails to be entertaining is all it is. 2 out of 4 stars.
I also ran into a mild delima last night. My Tax return info got approved so I will be getting a fair sum of money in the next 12-14 days. I want to buy one large ticket item (under $500) and then put the rest in savings... but I will be damned if I know what I want to get. I am probably just going to pick up a few games with it and... shit. I want a 20gig (or more) mp3 player to replace my mp3 CD player, but they are so damn costly I almost feel as though they are a waste. Help.
